My soul is darkness & light. My mind a battlefield between belief and doubt. One day filled with happiness, the other in total despair. Am I dark? Am I light? Or am I just me in dark & light?
The butterfly design made me think of my own fragility, my inner struggles arising from the uncertainty of where you might end when you take the leap into something new… Kind of remarkable is that the symbolism of the butterfly, amount other, is help when in despair of changes.
After creating the design as a print for fabric and paper, I decide to make it as a poster as well.
