Actually I dont know if digital printing was develped to improve the environmental impact of traditional printing methods, but fact is that it is an improvement.
MEANING it is a more environment friendly choice.
Digital textile printing has no print-paste waste, consumes less water and uses less electricity than traditional printing methods.
I want to produce as environmental friendly as the newest inventions allows and I try my best to do it as resourceful as possible. Sometimes it teases me but I tell myself: You learn from your mistakes and then you improve. đ
Slow Fashion & Just in Time
Low stock is for “just in time fashion” and “slow fashion” (besides to encourage homemade production) are products only produced when you order; no left overs of printed fabrics or paper that did not sell.
The stock for “just in time fashion” are kept as low as possible offering you the best possible price.
By buying digital printed products from small business owners such as myself, you do not only get unique designs and support small businesses, you also help change the way we produce supporting our environment.
The fabrics, paper and all finished products I offer are all digitally printed.
MTM Designs
You can purchase Ejm Art print designs on a vast amount of fabrics in Test Swatch, Fat Quarter and by the Meter. Unfortunately momentarily no half meters or less, which is why I also create MTM (made to measure) print designs for best utility & economic buy. Meaning my Free pattern pieces for e.g. the blouse & sweater designs are created to fit within a fabric use of one or two meters. This saves you money and unnecessary waste of fabric. The small amount of leftovers not put in use by the MTM design, can be used for quilt projects, scrunchies and the like.
